Waymark Español

Community guidelines

Travel with others, with respect

People is Waymark's space to join group plans and meet other travelers. It only works if everyone feels safe. These rules apply to profiles, plans, greetings and messages.

In effect from October 11, 2026 · Version 1.0

1. Who can use People

Only people aged 18 or over. We ask for your full date of birth and never show it: others only see your age range. Use your real first name and photos of yourself. One person, one account.

2. Respect first

Treat others as you want to be treated. A "no" or no answer is an answer: don't insist. Respect women-only plans and people's choices about who can greet them.

3. What is not allowed

4. Safe meetups

5. How we moderate

Texts and photos go through an automatic AI filter before they are published. Reports are first reviewed by an automatic system and then by a person on our team, who confirms or reverses the decision. Permanent bans are always decided by a person. Plan chats are deleted 7 days after the plan and private messages 30 days after they are sent.

6. Report and block

You can report any profile, plan, greeting or message from the app. The other person doesn't know who reported them. When you block someone, you stop seeing each other and can't message each other.

7. Child safety

Waymark strictly prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including any child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming or any attempt to contact minors. People is only for adults aged 18 or over.

8. Sanctions and appeals

Depending on how serious it is, we may hide content, pause your People account or close it. If we pause your account, you'll see why and can appeal once; a person on our team reviews the appeal. The rest of Waymark (your trips, maps and bookings) keeps working during a pause.
