Waymark · Account deletion
Delete your account and data
You can delete your Waymark account at any time, in the app or by writing to us. Here is how, and what gets deleted.
Before you start: deleting your account does not cancel a Waymark Pro or Ultra subscription. Cancel it first in Google Play → your photo → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Waymark → Cancel subscription.
To keep a copy, go to Profile → Settings → Download my data in the app before deleting.
In the app
- Open Waymark and sign in with the account you want to delete.
- Go to Profile → Settings.
- Under Your account and data, tap Delete my account.
- Read what is deleted, type DELETE to confirm and tap Delete account.
Deletion happens right away. When it finishes, the app signs you out and erases everything it stored on the phone.
Without the app
If you no longer have the app, write to contact@skyfoldlabs.io from your Google account's email address with the subject “Delete my account”. We will verify the request comes from the account holder, delete the account and confirm by email within 15 business days.
What is deleted
- Your Waymark account (name, email, photo and ID).
- Your trips in the cloud, with their days, activities, bookings, expenses, checklists and attached confirmations.
- Your saved places and collections.
- The groups you created, with their polls and expenses. You automatically leave other people's groups and trips, and pending invitations to your email are withdrawn.
- Your creator profile, your handle (@) and the itineraries you published.
- Your plan, your recorded purchases and your usage counters.
- Your devices' notification tokens.
- Everything the app stored on your phone.
What is kept, and for how long
- What you added to other people's trips or groups (for example, a shared expense) stays there, without your profile, because it is part of their accounts.
- Technical backups, if any, are overwritten within 35 days.
- Server technical logs contain neither your ID nor your content and are deleted after 30 days.
- Google Play keeps its own payment records under its policies.
If you used Waymark without an account, your data is only on your phone: clear the app's data in Android settings or uninstall it.
